Instruction at Blue Moon Dressage is aimed primarily at the adult amateur wishing to achieve a greater connection to the horse and gain greater understanding of the classical principles of dressage. Carol focuses strongly on helping riders to find a correct and effective position which allows freedom for the horse to perform to its best. Training board is available at Blue Moon Dressage for the rider or owner wishing to receive quality training from establishing basics on a young horse to advancing up the levels. All training is approached with the horse’s best interest in mind, following the training scale and listening for readiness before new concepts are introduced.

Blue Moon Dressage provides individualized care for boarders, treating all horses as if they were our own. The facility includes indoor and outdoor arenas, a jump field on grass, H/C wash stall and heated tack room. Pastures are large and well maintained and have shelter for those less than ideal days. Turnout is a large part of our program and the horses enjoy 24 hr turnout in spring and fall when extremes of weather are unlikely. Quality grass hay is fed up to three times daily when pasture is limited and energy needs are met with additional concentrates on an as needed basis. Contact us for current rates and availability. Blue Moon Dressage can assist you in locating your next performance partner, whether it will be a competitive upper level horse, something to grow with or simply an appropriate partner on which you can learn. Carol’s many contacts with breeders and top trainers afford her an opportunity to pre screen potential mounts to insure your goals are being met.
